Overview
Abbey Blue Formations manages every step of your Irish Private Limited Company formation, from the initial company name check and CRO availability search through to Form A1 preparation, constitution drafting, and certificate delivery.
The service is built for international founders based in India, the US, UK, UAE, Canada, and worldwide who need a clean, compliant process without navigating Irish company law from abroad.
There are no hidden steps, no surprise requirements, and no charges beyond what is stated.
Irish company law requires every Irish LTD to have at least one EEA-resident director unless a Section 137 Bond is in place.
Abbey Blue Formations handles the non-resident compliance process fully. We explain which option is right for your situation, arrange the compliance instrument, and file everything with the CRO on your behalf.
From the VIF Form notarisation process to IPN issuance and bond arrangement, every non-resident-specific requirement is managed as part of your package.
Once your company is incorporated, we move immediately to the compliance steps that commonly follow, including Corporation Tax registration with Revenue, RBO guidance, and confirmation of your Annual Return Date with the CRO.
You receive clear next steps, practical timelines, and dedicated support so your Irish company can move from Certificate of Incorporation to actively trading with confidence.

Section 137 Bond
A Section 137 Bond is the statutory alternative used when an Irish LTD has no EEA-resident director. Abbey Blue coordinates the bond arrangement and CRO filing support as part of this non-resident formation package.
The Section 137 Bond is an insurance-backed surety bond filed with the CRO. It guarantees a company's tax and compliance obligations in lieu of an EEA-resident director.
The bond is not a director. It is a financial guarantee lodged with the CRO that satisfies a legal residency requirement.
Abbey Blue arranges the bond through an approved insurer, coordinates the application process, and prepares the required CRO filing support at Form A1 stage.
Abbey Blue's bond arrangement fee is included in the stated package price.
UK-resident directors are treated as non-EEA directors for this requirement. Where no EEA-resident director is appointed, a valid Section 137 Bond is usually needed for incorporation.
After 2 years, the company must renew the bond, appoint an EEA-resident director, or establish a real and continuous Irish link.
Identity verification
Every Irish company director must provide a verified identity number. Irish residents use their PPSN. Non-residents submit a Form V1, also called a Verification of Identity Form, to receive an IPN.
Abbey Blue provides the correct Form V1 template and guidance notes for your non-resident director identity verification.
You arrange a local appointment with a Notary Public or approved witness in your country of residence.
You sign the VIF in person so the Notary can witness your handwritten signature and complete their certification.
A notarized copy of your valid passport is prepared for identity verification support.
You send the signed Form V1 and supporting notarized identity document back to Abbey Blue for review.
Abbey Blue submits the verified details through the CRO CORE portal to request your Identified Person Number.
The CRO issues your permanent IPN, which can be used for future Irish company filings.

Your dedicated advisor confirms your proposed company name, director details, shareholder structure, and non-resident compliance pathway.
